Nottingham Inspection Officials at Nottingham have been forced to call an inspection for 7am ahead of Wednesday´s meeting after a substantial amount of rain over the last week. With the track currently waterlogged in places, clerk of the course Nick Patton is hoping the persistent rain will stop in time to allow conditions to dry out. He said: "We have had 42 millimetres of rain over the last week and 15mm in the last 24 hours. "We are waterlogged in places and it is still raining at the moment but the forecast is for it to change. "If the rain doesn´t stop we are obviously going to struggle, so it´s just fingers crossed. "At the moment I would say we are 60-40 against racing but that could all change if it starts to dry out soon."
