Officials at Nottingham will hold a precautionary inspection in the morning ahead of tomorrow afternoon`s Flat meeting due to the threat of heavy rain.

Officials will also hold an inspection tomorrow morning for Leicester`s Flat card on Thursday due to the forecast of heavy rain.

Meanwhile Market Rasen has received a massive five-day entry of 644, which is a record for the Lincolnshire venue, for Saturday`s meeting.

With entries from all over the country the track has received clearance from the Jockey Club to stable horses overnight on Friday.
