O´Grady Ace The One To Catch

Edward O´Grady is looking for a good run from Catch Me in the Land Rover Champion Novice Hurdle at Punchestown on Friday.

The five-year-old staked his claim for Grade One honours in this two-and-a-half-mile contest when an excellent third to Massini´s Maguire in the Ballymore Properties Novices´ Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.

Tidal Bay, who was a length and a half ahead of Catch Me in that race, franked the form with victory at Aintree earlier this month.

He told At The Races: 'He´s an intended runner on Friday. Hopefully he won´t have a Massini´s Maguire or a Tidal Bay to contend with.

'He seems in good shape and worked nicely the other day. I´m hoping he´ll give a good account of himself.'
