Ollie Set For Vet Tests Ollie Magern will undergo a thorough veterinary examination this week ahead of a possible run in the Stan James King George VI Chase on St Stephen´s Day.The Nigel Twiston-Davies-trained nine-year-old made all to win the Charlie Hall Chase at Wetherby on his seasonal reappearance before disappointing behind Kauto Star in the Betfair Chase at Haydock.Ollie Magern was subsequently given a break and Twiston-Davies reports him to be in good heart.He said: 'Ollie has come back really well and will be given a physical once-over involving several tests this week.'We'll get the results back before Thursday when I'll have a consultation with his owner. As things stand we will leave him in at Kempton and are very keen to run,' he told the Racing Post.(C) PA Sport
