Only six run in Racing Post

A total of just six runners were today declared for the Racing Post Trophy - the last Group One event of the year in Britain - on Saturday.

Ballydoyle trainer Aidan O`Brien, who had 10 of the 15 entries at Monday`s confirmation stage, fields three runners - Camp David, unbeaten hat-trick seeker Castle Gandolfo, and High Chaparral.

The only other declared runners are the supplemented Godolphin representative Mount Joy, who is due to be ridden by Darryll Holland, the James Given-trained Mr Sandancer, who is the mount of Michael Fenton, and Redback, from the Richard Hannon stable, due to be partnered by Jimmy Fortune.

The Stg£175,000 race, run over the round mile, was won last year by Sir Michael Stoute`s Dilshaan.
