Options Open For Time

Passage Of Time is not certain to run at York's three-day meeting next week, despite holding entries in the Juddmonte International and the Darley Yorkshire Oaks.

Henry Cecil's filly disappointed in the Oaks at Epsom and although connections still have some lofty targets in mind, they will not hurry her return following treatment for a throat abscess.

'She is not certain to run in either race,' said Teddy Grimthorpe, racing manager to owner Prince Khalid Abdullah.

'I know people will automatically think there is something wrong, but I can assure you there isn't. Our main objective is to get her spot-on so she is not a certain runner at York.

'There is a very good programme for her depending on how she goes and where she goes. Races like the Prix Vermeille, the l'Opera and the Arc in France, the Breeders' Cup ? those are the sort of options we are looking at.'
