Oxx Trio Ready For Oaks

John Oxx is likely to be triple-handed in the Darley Irish Oaks at the Curragh on Sunday.

His trio will be spearheaded by Timarwa, who ran a mighty race to finish fourth behind Peeping Fawn on her first attempt at Group One glory in the Pretty Polly Stakes.

Vodafone Oaks fourth Four Sins has not been seen since her encouraging Epsom effort but is also expected to run, along with Barathea filly Athenian Way.

Oxx told the Racing Post: 'The plan is to run all three, although we might revise things if there is a lot more rain.

'I'd imagine Mick (Kinane) will ride Timarwa, although he won't decide until later in the week.'

Timarwa finished just over five lengths behind Curragh-bound Peeping Fawn last time, while Four Sins has around nine lengths to find on Epsom running with Henry Cecil's Light Shift.
