Pearl and Flagship nominated for Japan Florida Pearl and Flagship Uberalles have been selected to represent Ireland and Britain respectively in the Nakayama Grand Jump.Florida Pearl is set to run in the Tote Cheltenham Gold Cup but also holds an entry for the Martell Grand National which is a week before the April 13th contest in Japan.Flagship Uberalles was selected from an initial British entry of 16 horses, while Florida Pearl was the pick of seven Irish contenders.Flagship Uberalles was the winner of the Tingle Creek Trophy on his last start and is a leading fancy for the Queen Mother Champion Chase at Cheltenham.France is set to be represented by Line Marine, the USA will send all gong while St Steven and Rand will travel there from Australia and New Zealand respectively.
