P.J. Brigdale Appointed HRI Head of Marketing Horse Racing Ireland (HRI) today announced the appointment of P.J. Brigdale to the position of Head of Marketing with effect from April 14th 2008. P.J. is a 39 year old native of Co Clare, who has an M.A. from Dublin City University and is a member of the Marketing Institute of Ireland. He brings to the position extensive sales, advertising and marketing management experience. This includes previous roles as Group Product Manager with Bulmers, Marketing Manager with Glanbia Foods, six years as Marketing Director for Tayto Ltd and most recently as Marketing Director with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Consumer Healthcare in Ireland. P.J. Brigdale said: ?I am delighted to be joining Horse Racing Ireland as Head of Marketing and I look forward to the exciting challenges ahead in terms of growing the numbers of people attending horse racing events in Ireland.?
