Power bonus tempts Mullins

Time Electric may line up at Naas on Sunday in order to qualify for a bonus put up by bookmakers Paddy Power.

The Tom Mullins-trained six-year-old is currently 5-1 co-favourite with Paddy Power for the champion bumper at the Cheltenham Festival after an eyecatching debut at Leopardstown.

And with an attractive bonus of nearly #30,000 up for grabs for any horse that can win on Sunday and at the Festival, Mullins has given himself the choice.

"I have entered Time Electric in the paddypowercasino.com INH Flat Race as an option as he is doing so well and on Friday morning we´ll make up our minds as to whether to run," said Mullins.

"He did it well at Leopardstown and lived up to all expectations. If he doesn´t run at Naas, he definitely won´t run before the Cheltenham Festival.

"Touch wood, everything keeps fine and he is a very exciting prospect, who is above the average horse.

"I am not exactly sure, but I think he goes on any ground although that has not been settled yet. He wouldn´t run on very fast ground at Cheltenham and he would be a chaser in the making."
