Prince Joins Coolmore

Strategic Prince has been snapped up by Coolmore and will go straight to stud.

Paul Cole's two-time Group Two winner was as low as 8-1 to win the Stan James 2000 Guineas but came home eighth behind Cockney Rebel.

He since struggled in the Vodafone Derby and the Jersey Stakes.

Coolmore manager Christy Grassick told the Racing Post: 'Strategic Prince has strong claims to being the fastest son of the up-and-coming Dansili and will be his first son to stand in Ireland.'
