Prince Picasso Scores at Limerick

A Rock Of Gibraltar-sired winner followed by Prince Picasso (by Lomitas and bred by the Cheveley Park Stud) wouldn´t be the norm at an all jumps meeting but with the ground riding good to firm (firm in places) at Limerick these Flat breads came to the fore.

Prince Picasso came out best in the Braddish Builders Handicap Hurdle, an event where many of the twelve strong field still had chances at the business end. Eric McNamara said of the Robbie Power-ridden one and a quarter length victor, "he will go for something similar again and two and a half miles would be his maximum trip. He is quick enough for two miles and Galway is a definite possibility."
