Proviso Primed For Ascot Test Proviso, general favourite for the Stan James 1000 Guineas, is in line to defend her unbeaten record in Saturday's Meon Valley Stud Fillies' Mile at Ascot.The Andre Fabre-trained juvenile will be the only French representative if she lines up in the Group One heat.Proviso is owned by Prince Khalid Abdullah, who is also responsible for John Gosden's Sense Of Joy.The latter would be stepping up to a mile after posting two cosy victories over seven furlongs, but is more likely to run in the Prix Marcel Boussac on October 7.Jim Bolger's dual Group One winner Saoirse Abu brings top-class form to the table, while Mad About You and Aidan O'Brien's pair, Kitty Matcham and Listen, could also fly the flag for the Ireland.Joffe's Run, Kay Es Jay, Sugar Mint and Wadlia have also been confirmed, while Ed Vaughan's May Hill runner-up Kotsi is the sole supplementary entry.(C) PA Sport
