Queally Looking Towards York With Eile

John Queally will wait until as late as possible before deciding whether Al Eile runs at Tipperary on Sunday.

The smart dual-purpose performer has an entry in the Grade Three Kevin McManus Bookmaker Grimes Hurdle but is far from a definite runner.

His gutsy display under top weight in the Northumberland Plate came in desperate ground, and Queally is reluctant to ask too much of his stable star as he has his eyes on a possible tilt at the Ebor at York.

'I made the entry and I'll see how he is on Friday, but I haven't done much with him since Newcastle,' he said.

'I thought I'd better have him in it just to see.

'It was a grueller last time, it was probably his toughest ever race so we'll just have to see how he is.

'He was carrying more than any other horse and it was a very tough race, so I don't want to go back too soon with him ? we will let him tell us when he is ready.

'He's not a Galway horse at all so we are probably looking towards the Ebor with him. That's more on my mind than anything else.'
