Regime Returns To Curragh Regime, winner of the High Chaparral Mooresbridge Stakes earlier in the season, returns to the Curragh this weekend in search of further glory in Saturday?s Group 3 Keeneland International Stakes. The Michael Bell trained performer is one of 17 entries for the contest over nine furlongs, which also includes Mustameet winner of this race in 2006, Chinese White, Lisvale and the well travelled Lord Admiral. Meanwhile Aidan O?Brien is well represented here with seven entries including King Of Rome, One Great Cat and Plan. Also featured on the opening day of the Darley Irish Oaks weekend, is the Group 3 Keeneland Minstrel Stakes, which has also attracted an entry of 17, including five British trained challengers. Captain Marvellous, Al Qasi and the former Frank Ennis trained Confushias would appear to be the pick of them. The home trained team is headed by Myboycharlie and Jumbajukiba, while other notable entries include Georgebernardshaw, Dimenticata and My Girl Sophie. The three handicap races on Saturday?s programme are typically competitive, while there are some very interesting juveniles in the opening Carmel Keatley Memorial Fillies 2yo Maiden. The ground is currently yielding on the round course and soft on the straight course. Commenting on weather prospects for the week ahead, General Manager Paul Hensey remarked, "It is to remain unsettled up until the middle of this week but there will be a general improvement in the weather towards the weekend. I would be satisfied that the ground will ride just on the easy side." the easy side."
