Reveillez Fine After Betfred Stumble

Reveillez was reported to be 'A1' by James Fanshawe after stumbling and losing a shoe in the Betfred Gold Cup.

The JP McManus-owned grey put up a courageous performance to finish second to Hot Weld in the Sandown feature despite momentarily losing his footing passing the stands with a circuit to go.

'He´s A1. He´s been out in the paddock and is absolutely fine,' said the Newmarket trainer.

'He ran very well and I was delighted with him.

'I´m not sure what the plans are but I´d say he´s most likely to go on holiday now.

'He´s got to improve a bit again for next season, but he won at Aintree and he´s had a good year.'
