Rhinestone Cowboy out for the season. Leading World Hurdle (formerly Stayers´ Hurdle) hope Rhinestone Lad is out for the rest of the season after suffering a leg injury.Rhinestone Cowboy´s trainer Johnjo O´Neill reported the news, stating 'Rhinestone is out for the season. He´s got a leg injury and he´s been scanned today. We´re going to get it fired but he´s gone for the year unfortunately.'He added 'It´s very disappointing. I´m sick for the owners and sick for young JP (Magnier), who rides him. I´m also pretty sick myself. We were looking forward to seeing him run again this season - the longer trips seemed to suit him and we would have had plenty of options with him, but the World Hurdle would probably have been his race.'The eight year old had been 9/4 favourite for the World Hurdle with Coral and 3/1 second favourite for the race (behind Baracouda) with Ladbrokes.
