Rockview Bumper Series begins at Punchestown on Sunday The fourth annual renewal of the Rockview Bumper Series for amateur riders begins at Punchestown on Sunday. The Rockview QR Bumper is the concluding race at the track and sees 11 runners lining up with jockey Katie Walsh, a winner of the series on the last two renewals, riding Tears To Cheers for trainer Tom Taaffe. Amateur rider Barry Connell, again, kindly sponsors the series with the ten race programme culminating in a Final race at The Curragh in May. Points are awarded on a 20 (for a winner), 15 (for 2nd), 12, 10, 8 & 3 (for also rans) and updates can be seen at www.irishamateurjockeys.com.
