Rowley mile continues to dry out The going at Newmarket is drying out ahead of next week`s three-day Craven fixture, which gets under way on Tuesday. Clerk of the course Michael Prosser said: 'The going is now good to soft all round. 'We are drying out nicely and we have now had 48 hours of dry, warm weather with strong cross-winds. 'There is a good covering of grass and the course is in good condition.'
