Russell cleared to resume race-riding straightaway Jockey Davy Russell has been given the all-clear from doctors to resume race-riding and can now aim his sights at catching Ruby Walsh at the head of the Jockeys´ Championship. Russell has been absent since injuring his wrist in a fall at Fairyhouse on Arpil 8 allowing his title rival Walsh to move four winners clear; 125-121. With Tipperary´s card on Thursday abandoned, Russell is set resume riding at Cork on Saturday. The season concludes at Punchestown on April 26.
