Saoirse and Nahoodh head Guineas field

Saoirse Abu and Nahoodh feature among the 13 horses set to go to post for Sunday´s Boylesports Irish 1000 Guineas at the Curragh.

The pair finished third and fifth respectively when last seen in action in the English equivalent at Newmarket.

Saoirse Abu is trained by Jim Bolger, whose impressive Musidora winner Lush Lashes and Prima Luce were among the seven to drop out at the declaration stage.

Aidan O´Brien last won the race with Yesterday in 2003 and will rely on Halfway To Heaven, Kitty Matcham, Mystical Lady, Savethisdanceforme and Soinlovewithyou.

Dermot Weld will be represented by the hat-trick-seeking Carribean Sunset and Mad About You, who will be making her first appearance since finishing third behind Zarkava in the Prix Marcel Boussac last year.

Milton Of Campsie, Queen Jock, Tuscan Evening and Nahoodh´s stablemate Eva´s Request complete the field.
