Saturdays meeting at Fairyhouse abandoned Saturday's National Hunt meeting at Fairyhouse has been abandoned after the track was found to be unraceable. The recent heavy rain have resulted in the track becoming unraceable and further downpours today scuppered any chance of racing at the weekend.Elsewhere, following an inspection this morning, the two steeplechase races scheduled for Thurles on Sunday have been cancelled. Two of the remaining races on the card will be divided to restore the meeting to a seven race programme.
