Shift Set For Nassau Outing

Light Shift warmed up for the Blue Square Nassau Stakes at Goodwood next Saturday with a fine workout on Wednesday morning.

Trainer Henry Cecil declared himself satisfied with the Vodafone Oaks heroine, who stretched her legs on the Newmarket gallops in company with stablemate Brisk Breeze.

The Warren Place handler told www.henrycecil.com: 'Light Shift seems in good form and hopefully will go for the Nassau.

'She went nicely this morning in her work and Ted (Durcan) was very pleased with her.'

Light Shift is set to renew rivalry with Peeping Fawn, who atoned for her Oaks second by defeating Cecil's filly in the Irish equivalent.
