Shimah impresses at Curragh The Kevin Prendergast trained 2-Y-O filly Shimah won in impressive style on her debut at the Curragh. Settled off the pace-setters by Declan McDonagh Shimah quickened up approaching the final furlong to win going away by 4 lengths. ´She is quite smart and while it is early days she has done everything we have asked her to do and hopefully she will improve,´ said trainer Kevin Prendergast. ´I would prefer to keep her at home and run her in the Heinz, but we will have to speak with the owner.´
