Smullen looking for big run from Chinese White

Jockey Pat Smullen has stated that he would not swap his mount on Chinese White in Friday´s Juddmonte Oaks "for anything" and believes his filly has a big chance.

A six-length victor on her debut at Leopardstown last September, Dermot Weld´s filly was an impressive winner of a Listed event at Gowran Park last time.

While Smullen acknowledges that this is a big step up in class for his mount, he expects her to prove up to the task.

"She has done everything we have asked of her and won really well the last day. I am really excited about riding her on Friday," said Smullen.

"You never know if they will handle the track until they are they´re racing on it but she seems to be a very agile filly so I don´t think it will bother her."

The daughter of Dalakhani is drawn 14 of 16 but Smullen does not believe that will play too much of a part on Friday.

"Ideally you would like to be in the middle of them, but we will just have to try to navigate our way around and get ourselves into a nice position.

"There are some nice fillies in there but mine is in very good form and I wouldn´t swap her for anything," Smullen told At The Races.
