Spinner Considered For Cesarewitch

Handicap maestro Tony Martin revealed Leg Spinner is 'still a possibility' for the totesport.com Cesarewitch.

The versatile six-year-old won his last start on the level at Ascot but was bitterly disappointing reverting back to timber in September.

Leg Spinner came home seventh of eight runners in a two-mile hurdle at Listowel to leave his handler bemused.

That no-show over two miles has not inflated his price for the Cesarewitch, however, as the sponsors are as low as 9-1 for the big Newmarket handicap on October 20 ? third favourite behind Fair Along.

'He's back doing a bit after his bad run at Listowel,' said Martin.

'We could find nothing major wrong with him after the race, it's just one of those things ? he's run poorly a few times before.

'He's still a possibility for the Cesarewitch, but it will depend on the next fortnight.'
