Sublimity Camp In Upbeat Mood

John Carr has still to see a serious challenger emerge to threaten Sublimity's supremacy at the head of the Champion Hurdle betting.

Harchibald's eclipse of Katchit and Blythe Knight at Newcastle once again proved the Irish hurdlers have a stranglehold on the two-mile division.

And Carr, who is preparing his champion for the Boylesports International at Cheltenham on December 15, still thinks Sublimity is the one to beat in March.

'I don't think we are afraid of anything really,' said Carr.

'We are on target for the Bula (Boylesports). Macs Joy is going there now and Katchit is going there but we have to start him off somewhere.

'Straw Bear looks like he could go there too. I was very disappointed with Blythe Knight at Newcastle because I thought he could be the one.

'Harchibald won well but he'll have harder races than Saturday to come, but he never really beat Hardy Eustace or Brave Inca in his heyday like we did.'
