Supaseus Bids For Hunt Success Hughie Morrison is hoping for a shower or two before tomorrow´s Royal Hunt Cup at Royal Ascot. The East Ilsley handler sends out Supaseus in the handicap feature after the four-year-old won a competitive Newmarket event on his seasonal bow last month. With conditions at Ascot currently described as good, good to firm in places, Morrison would not mind a little rain before the off.'I would like it to be on the slow side of good ideally. I think there may be some showers forecast and the slow side of good would be right up his street,' he said.Supaseus is drawn in stall 30 on the far side and Morrison will be watching the opening day´s action with interest.'Hopefully he will run well tomorrow. We are a bit concerned about the draw but we will find out about that over the next 24 hours,' he added.'The main thing is to be where the pace in the race is.'Fantastic View is a fascinating competitor as he returns from a 1,013-day absence and makes his first start for Jeremy Noseda. The six-year-old finished second in the 2003 Racing Post Trophy at Doncaster but disappointed in the Craven Stakes the following year and has had just one start since.'His home work suggests that he retains a very good level of ability. However, with this being his first run for nearly three years, he will improve for it,' his Shalfleet handler told www.jeremynoseda.comPat Eddery reports Eden Rock to be in fine shape, having recovered from a setback that prevented him from having a prep race. The six-year-old has not run since finishing fourth in a mile handicap at Nad Al Sheba in February.'He´s in good form, he´s working well so I´m just hoping for the best.'He ran a good race in Dubai, but then got an infection in his joint so I couldn´t run him again.'But I´ve got him back and he´s a horse who runs well when fresh anyway. He hasn´t run since Dubai, but he´s in good shape so it´s fingers crossed.'(C) PA Sport
