TAUNTON MEETING ABANDONED Heavy rain has wiped out Taunton`s meeting scheduled for tomorrow. Officials at the English track were due to inspect the course at 7.30am tomorrow to check if it was fit for racing. However, waterlogging in the car parks rather than on the circuit itself has caused the problem. The course cannot meet the instructions laid down by the Jockey Club, British Horseracing Board and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food as vehicles at the course cannot be properly disinfected.
