Three for the Irish at Perth

Following on the success of the Ado McGuinness-trained Hi Density on Wednesday, Irish runners made Perth their own today with a hat-trick. Ian Ferguson set the ball rolling in the opener with the Denis O´Regan partnered Carrick Dhu, seven length victor of The Drifters Here On July 29th Intermediate Hurdle.

Paul Carberry (jockey of Hi Density) made it two for the meeting on the strongly-backed Paradise Bay. Gordon Elliott´s charge landed the gamble in style in the Planet Womenswear Fashion Leaders Handicap Hurdle. Charlie Swan got in on the act in the bumper, Ronnie Bartlett´s grey, Scholfield doing the business under James O´Farrell.
