Thursday's meeting at Thurles must pass a precautionary 8am inspection tomorrow morning.

Course officials abandoned the chase races on the card on Tuesday but the hurdles-only fixture is now under a cloud.

'They are raceable at present ? the ground is heavy ? but there is a bad forecast for further heavy rain,' said Irish Turf Club press officer, Cliff Noone.

'With that in mind, they have decided to be cautious and call a precautionary inspection.'
