Tiutchev to return home

Tiutchev returns to Nicky Henderson`s Lambourn stable today following treatment for a bout of colic at the Royal Veterinary College.

The nine-year-old was forced to miss last Saturday`s Ritz Club Ascot Chase after developing colic and his participation in the Queen Mother Champion Chase at the Cheltenham Festival was thrown into doubt.

A decision is expected to be made soon as to whether he will be able to run again this season.

Henderson said at Huntingdon this afternoon: 'He will be home when I get back, it will be nice to have him back and we will have to see how we find him and how he is.

'The good thing about him is that he nearly talks and tells you how he is, that is how we knew a month before Sandown that we had got him back.'

But when asked if he would make it to the Cheltenham Festival, Henderson added: 'That is the way he is and he is going to have to tell us whether he is going to be trainable this season - we will have to see.'
