Tralee To Close After Festival Tralee Racecourse will close forever after this year´s festival which begins on Tuesday 19th August. The race company that runs Tralee has not applied to HRI for any dates in 2009 as the course has been sold for development. The fixtures committee will meet during Galway races at the end of this month to finalise the 2009 fixture list and will reallocate Tralee´s dates to other tracks.
