It read - In 2009 Tramore Racecourse is moving to a new location at Lisselan, located approx two miles from this existing racecourse. Already the one mile, five furlong 60m left-handed track, which will host National Hunt and Flat racing, has been seeded; the schooling ground is in place while work will shortly start on the construction of a two-storey glass fronted stand to accommodate 10,000 people. Within the Grandstand complex, there will be a multi-purpose hospitality area, seating 300, with panoramic views of the entire racecourse and the parade ring. State-of-the-art facilities will be provided for owners, trainers, jockeys, stable staff, bookmakers & race-goers. The stable yard has 122 stables complete with veterinary areas, staff canteen, toilets and shower facilities.
