Triumph Hurdle runner-up Franchoek a possible for Punchestown Franchoek, runner-up in the Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham, has two potential choices at the Punchestown Festival, with trainer Alan King in no rush to make any decisions. King´s juvenile has run won four of his eight hurdle starts and, despite being beaten by Celestial Halo at Cheltenham and Elusive Dream at Aintree, he remains in good nick. "He and Blazing Bailey will be my only runners at Punchestown," said the trainer. "Franchoek is in the four-year-old race and the two-and-a-half miler and I really want to see what the ground will be like first. "It is on the soft side at the moment, which would tempt me towards the four-year-old race, but I´m fairly relaxed about it. "He´s remarkably tough and has come back from Aintree in wonderful form."
