Turftrax returns to Newmarket Newmarket Racecourses is delighted to announce that it is to resume its link with TurfTrax this summer. Having been absent since the last meeting of 2006, the latest tracking technology will once again be used on The July Course, starting with the fixture on Friday, June 20, and later this season on The NatWest Rowley Mile. TurfTrax´s state-of-the-art system aims to instantly provide a wealth of accurate information on each race. The data, which will be available free of charge for a week after each fixture on www.newmarketracecourses.co.uk, offers added insight to racegoers and punters, while giving invaluable information to owners and trainers about a specific horse´s performance. Mark Kent, TurfTrax´s Managing Director, said: "It is with great pleasure that TurfTrax renews its association with Newmarket Racecourses, recognised as the home of horseracing. Explaining specific aspects, Kent added: "The TurfTrax Tracking System provides a real-time data feed that can be used to generate new in-running betting opportunities, enhanced TV production and enhanced on-course CCTV graphics. The system also creates a wide range of data sets for research and analysis by punters, owners and trainers alike via the TurfTrax and bespoke websites such as Newmarket´s own where the post-race data will be available."
