Twice Over on course for Dante Twice Over, ante-post favourite for the Vodafone Derby, is firmly on target to have his final prep race in the totesport.com Dante Stakes at York on Thursday week. The Henry Cecil-trained colt jumped to the head of the betting at around 4-1 for the Epsom Classic with a short-head victory over Raven´s Pass in the Craven Stakes at Newmarket last month. "He´s fine and is on course for the Dante at the moment," said Teddy Grimthorpe, racing manager to owner Khalid Abdullah. Twice Over´s form has been given a double boost in the last few days. Raven´s Pass was far from disgraced when finishing fourth to Henrythenavigator from a poor draw in the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket on Saturday, while Austintatious, runner-up to Twice Over on his debut last October, won nicely at Kempton on Monday. "Raven´s Pass ran well in the Guineas and it was good to see the other one win," Grimthorpe added. "Twice Over´s in good nick and all will be revealed at York."
