Ulster National hero Born Braver has Punchestown aim Ulster Grand National winner Born Braver is likely to have his next run at the Punchestown Festival next month. While a run at Fairyhouse on Easter Monday would have been the preferred option, trainer Gavin Cromwell admitted that his charge was unlikely to make the cut for the Irish National. Speaking on Monday, Cromwell said: "He was (very good), he relishes that trip. "Just a little bit nicer ground yesterday than the last day in Punchestown where he just got bogged down in it. "It was a good performance and he got a lovely position in the race, and jumped really well. "I suppose the 3m 7f at Punchestown on the Saturday is a possibility. "He's a horse that has an entry in the Irish National and I would have loved if he got into it, but it is looking very unlikely. Perhaps (another year)." Additional reporting by Michael Graham.
