Vague Hit With Setback

Vague, winner of last week’s UAE 1000 Guineas for Jeremy Noseda, will miss the rest of the Dubai Racing Carnival after sustaining an injury.

The daughter of Elusive Quality will return to her Newmarket base in the near future where connections will make a decision as to when and where she will resume her three-year-old campaign.

“It is a disappointing setback but she will be back on the track in the summer,” the trainer told www.jeremynoseda.com.

Vague won both of her starts in Dubai this winter and topped her juvenile campaign by finishing second in the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot at York.
