Wachman Ace Primed For Longchamp David Wachman is sending Followmyfootsteps over from his County Tipperary base to contest the French 2000 Guineas at Longchamp on Sunday.The Michael Tabor-owned colt won a maiden at Tipperary last month in eye-catching style but faces a significant step up in class.However, the shrewd Wachman has seen enough from the son of Giant´s Causeway on the gallops at home to suggest he is ready for the challenge.'He´s an intended runner,' said Wachman.'He won his maiden about a month ago and he has shown me enough at home since to suggest that he is worth his place in the line-up.'He won his maiden over seven and a half furlongs and he´s by Giant´s Causeway so the trip shouldn´t be a problem.'Stephane Pasquier rides him so we will see what happens now.'(C) PA Sport
