Weld keen on Chinese White

Dermot Weld has given a glowing assessment of Chinese White, an unbeaten three-year-old with a stack of Classic entries.

A grey daughter of Dalakhani, Chinese White was a highly-impressive winner of her only start at Leopardstown last September and holds engagements in the English and Irish Oaks and 1000 Guineas, although Newmarket is almost certain to come too soon.

"I think she´s a very interesting filly when we produce her sometime in May," said Weld.

"She has been a bit backward but we will be looking for a stakes race for her and she´s certainly one with a future."

Weld added that Truly Mine, a recent winner of a Listed race at Dundalk, had been retired as she is in foal to Dalakhani.
