Wells On Irish Derby Trail Mores Wells is more likely to run in the Budweiser Irish Derby rather than the Epsom equivalent following his disappointing performance at Leopardstown.The Ballysax Stakes winner was unsuited by the fast ground when fourth to Archipenko in the Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial.'The ground was far too fast for him ? he´s a Sadler´s Wells,' said trainer Kevin Prendergast.'We were promised good ground but it was like a road. He´s OK today but he didn´t travel on the ground.'We´ll just give it four or five days and have a rethink where we´ll go.'He´s in the two Derbies, but he´s more likely to miss the English one and go for the Irish one.'The ground is one consideration.
