Wetherby frozen Saturday afternoon´s meeting at Wetherby has been abandoned due to a frozen track. After an inconclusive inspection at 8am, another look at 10am revealed temperatures had not risen sufficiently enough to allow the frost to come out of the ground. Clerk of the course James Sanderson confirmed: "We´ve had to call it off. "We haven´t had the sun. It has been under cloud and we have actually had a shower of snow which has settled, although I think that will go. "We said we needed to see significant improvement by 10am and we haven´t."
