WILLIAMSON APPEALS

Norman Williamson has decided to appeal against a five-day ban handed to him by the Wolverhampton stewards.

He was punished for dropping his hands and losing third place on Honey Trader in a four-runner chase at the Dunstall Park track last Friday.

Williamson said: "I'm appealing. Last night was the deadline, so we are going to appeal anyway."

The dates of the ban are: July 16th, 17th, 19th, 20th and 22nd.
