Call Me Dolly ran out a 14/1 winner of the Watch Racing Free Online At Ladbrokes Handicap Hurdle (80-102).

The Gale Force Ten mare, a winner on the Flat at Thurles last year, was always handy under James O’Sullivan and hit the front on the run to the final flight.

She was strongly pressed on the run-in by Good World (13/2) but just did enough to hold that one by a short head at the line, getting off the mark over hurdles at the fourth attempt and on her handicap debut. Union Park (14/1) and Sweet Sixteen (9/1) were the others to make the frame.

Feidhlim Cuningham, assistant to winning trainer Gavin Cromwell, said: “She was second in a Flat maiden on her debut for us. She has plenty of ability and won over a mile and a half on the Flat.

“We were worried that the ground might be a bit sticky for her but she has form on soft and yielding so she got through it well. James said she would have no problem stepping up to two and a half.”
