Dew Line relished the testing conditions to open her account under Leigh Roche in the Listowel Arms Handicap.

The Mick Mulvany-trained filly was never too far from the pace in this nine-furlong event, and took over from Acid entering the straight.

Roche needed to get down to the work inside the final furlong but the 8/1 chance kept on well to beat 9/4 favourite Tudor City by a length and a quarter.

The pair stretched a further four and a half lengths clear of Never Again in third.

Mulvany said, "I thought she was very unlucky the last day as she was drawn in the car park and didn't get the clearest of runs.

"We didn't get to run her as a two-year-old as she had a few problems. Those are now ironed out but she's only starting to learn her game. She's better going left handed and that's why we came here and she could now run at Navan on their next meeting."
