Cork Wed, 9th Sep, 2026  The Scallionator Mick has big faith in me and I'm grateful to the Clearys Syndicate for letting me ride The Scallionator as well. Doing bottom-weight is no trouble for me and I don't even own a weighing scales. I just come racing and enjoy it. The next step is to find that good horse who will bring me to the next level. I rode The Scallionator in Royal Ascot and in the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes this year, so hopefully I can get one of those type horses. I have given Wesley a lot of his winners and it is nice for him to do this. Things (injuries) have happened along the way but he is where he is now and is my stable jockey now. The instructions were to bounce him out and lead, and the reason he came here was to qualify him for the final of the series at Naas (October 11).

Navan Sat, 5th Sep, 2026  Lars Soldier He said he lost his iron about a furlong down and he was well balanced; it is all about balance. We'll probably be trying to go for the Birdcatcher (Naas) now to get the bonus if you win it (€20,000 bonus as a winner of a qualifying nursery handicap). He's a competitive little horse and, at the end of the day, he was entitled to take his chance. He has been knocking on the door, and we tried him over seven (furlongs), but the opposition we were running against was very high. We came back into a nursery there and he is very competitive. Wesley is very competitive on light weights and for the size of him, he is very strong. I think he only has one or two (winners) left on his apprenticeship. He's well capable.

Navan Thu, 27th Aug, 2026  Nephin Mountain He was knocking on the door and he won in Ballinrobe. The handicapper wasn't too hard on him. We came here and it wasn't an ideal distance, I'd say he is probably and a mile and two horse. It was great when the race was divided and we let him take his chance. We knew he would stay. He might come back here again next week.
