Kilbeggan hosts its final meeting of the year today with a late afternoon starting time of 4.15 for a seven-race card.

The Kilsaran Handicap Chase is the feature event and the Henry de Bromhead-trained Full Cry has to give weight all round to nine rivals.

The Milan gelding beat Freewheelin Dylan by a neck in this corresponding race 12 months ago, and the pair renew rivalry on similar terms with Hugh Morgan again claiming 7lb off the top-weight.

Don’t Let Go is another course and distance winner to consider having scored here back in June.

The Midland Breeders Supporting Kilbeggan Beginners Chase is the other race over fences, and this two-and-a-half-mile contest should provide plenty of interest.

Gordon Elliott rarely leaves this venue empty handed and is represented by Make My Heart Fly who completed a four-timer over hurdles last year, while Stoneford and Oscars Den also make appeal.

Oscars Den, runner-up on his only point-to-point start nearly seven years ago and a five-time winner under rules, makes a belated debut over racecourse fences for Ted Walsh.

The De Bromhead/Morgan partnership has prospects elsewhere on the card, with Game Present in the Sean Hughes Memorial Opportunity Handicap Hurdle, while the progressive Josephina may complete a hat-trick in the Adare Manor Opportunity Handicap Hurdle.
