Naas Racecourse which will host the first meeting when racing returns in Ireland on Monday June 8 are making sure that the surface will be in tip top condition.
The County Kildare course held the only meeting so far of the 2020 Flat season when it raced behind closed doors on March 23, one day before all racing in Ireland stopped.
Track foreman Roy Butler and his team have been putting between 7mm and 12mm of water on the track each day for the last three weeks and will continue to do so in the run up to June 8 if required.
