Gordon Elliott reached 100 for the season when Warlike Intent claimed the bumper at Clonmel, giving the Cullentra handler a four-timer on the day.

The gelding, who was also giving Gigginstown four winners on the card, had one outing in a point-to-point for Pat Doyle back in March 2016 and made his first outing for Elliott today.

He was backed from 9/4 this morning and went to post a 5/6 shot in the two-miler.

Lisa O'Neill tracked the leaders on the Stowaway gelding before hitting the front two furlongs from home.

The five-year-old ran around under pressure a touch in front but stayed on strongly in the closing stages to post a comprehensive 13-length win.

"All credit to Gordon and the team at home and it's a pleasure to be getting on horses like that. There's a lot of hard work that goes on at home,” said O'Neill.

"It's a bonus being able to sit on them on the race track when you know them a little bit better at home and he's a lovely big horse and whatever he did today he'll be much better over jumps."
